…PHOTO CONTEST!
Hot messes O.O !! I had to share this, what I can only describe as a shopaholic’s dream photo contest! And not your average pay 5L$ or 10L$ to vote photo contest, votes are free, the only thing you have to do is buy your board for 349L$ and submit your photo to the designated flickR group, here, if you don’t have a flickR account all you got to do is message, Heather Smithson, let her know, send her the picture and she’ll add it for you!
NOW hot messes, I know what you’re thinking…Suki…349L$? Yes, a one time fee of 349L$, votes are free because the participating designers will be doing the voting, the prizes are extensive and worth much more. In addition the entry fee’s and participating designers voting establish grounds of fair play, nomore popular vote bullshit, and the entry fee’s received will be divided amongst the top 3 winners. SO cash and prizes, worth a 349L$ entry fee? Especially if it weeds out the diva’s and divo’s who invite everyone and their third cousin, twice removed and eliminates the spend all their L$ on voting bitter taste that’s left after normal photo contests.
OK so below is a whole heap of information, the event outline, the rules, AND THE PRIZES, now I don’t know about you budding fashionista’s and fashionisto’s but by the time I get to the bottom of the list I am drooling..to say the least…we won’t talk about the other reactions I’m having. Depraved Nation is holding a photo contest during our current fair, The 100 Block. Participating stores have donated tons of prizes to be distributed to the winners once they are selected. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for this contest.
Here’s how it works:
۞ Entrants will purchase a board (available 5/16/2013) which they will use to display their photo. Boards will be set for sale for 349L$.
۞ In lieu of voting, we are charging a one time entry fee to cover the expense of this contest. We feel this is the best way to ensure the contest winners are based on photo quality and style versus who can TP in the most friends. This is NOT a popularity contest or a contest that will collect L$ for votes.
۞ Once the board is purchased please submit your photo to our designated flickr group. (If you do not have a flickr acct you can pass your photo to Heather Smithson and I will add it for you, please make sure you IM me and let me know this is what you’re doing!).

۞ Participating designers will be asked to vote on the photo’s to determine our 3 winners. Voting will be made by designers participating in The 100 Block Event ONLY. There will be no charge for voting.
۞ Photos will remain on display @ The 100 Block SIM until the winners are determined. At the time winners are announced, we will return all photo boards with the exception of the winners and the winner boards will stay on the sim until the event ends (May 31).

This contest is intended for all residents in SL, not only those with computer software which can enhance an image. Straight screenshots are allowed.

Ready for the Rules???
۞ Photo boards should not be resized. If your image is 2 x 1 you should decrease only the height of the board. If you need assistance with this you can contact Kehl Razor or Heather Smithson.
۞ While using photoshop or similar software outside of SL is allowed it is not necessarily encouraged. Designers will be looking for photo concept, clothing/outfit style, and overall composition. Heavily edited photos will not increase your chances of winning.
۞ Each photo should be focused on style, design and quality. We are looking for an artistic aspect with these photos.
۞ Each entrant should be wearing / using at least ONE exclusive release from The 100 Block event.
۞ Each photo board has a NC giver inside of it, once you have purchased a board and put your Texture on it, please drop a styling NC into the board (a list of the items you are wearing).
۞ There will only be ONE winner announced per entry. Mulitple entry’s should not use the same photo.
۞ Entrants are allowed to purchase only ONE board.
۞ Prizes will be distributed to ONE winner per placement (we will not divide up prizes for you if you decide to take a photo with a friend or partner).
***Depraved Nation will not be made responsible for determining who deserves what prizes if multiple avatars are using in one photo. The owner of the board will be designated the winner if that photo is one of the top 3 selected.***
***Contributing designers will be given a NC with the winners names, it is at their discretion if they choose to issue the prizes to any other avatar, aside from the winner.***
***The entry fee’s received for this contest will be divided among the top three winners! Please invite your friends to join the friendly competition and spread the word.***
